TeaserPlay lives up to its name, as the developers have released a teaser for a Fallout New Vegas remake in Unreal Engine 5. The team made full use of Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5 Lumen, Nanite, Screen Space Ray Tracing and Global Illumination Shader technologies. The latter being one of the most important, as it simulates lighting interactions with geometry and material surfaces to add realistic lighting.
If it’s the first time seeing this game, players control a character called Courier, and while transporting a package across the Mojave Desert to the city of New Vegas, he’s ambushed, robbed of the package, shot, and buried in a cemetery. Some time later, Courier is dug out and recovers from their wound before starting a journey to find their would-be killer and recover the package. Then there’s this Fallout 4 AnimeRace mod, which turns every character into an anime character.
