Pitchfork and Rough Trade’s Oklou Zine Launch Postponed

Pitchfork regrets to announce that we are postponing the launch event for our new Oklou zine due to illness. The event was originally set to take place tomorrow (Wednesday, September 8), but has been rescheduled to next Thursday, October 16. It will still be at Rough Trade Below, which is on the concourse level of 30 Rockefeller Center, New York, NY 10112. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the main event begins at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Tickets for the event are currently sold out, and will be transferrable to the new date. Refunds can also be obtained through the ticket seller. Each ticket includes a free copy of the Oklou zine. Once inside Rough Trade Below, attendees can buy up to two additional zines at the event while supplies last.

Pitchfork’s third zine of the year complements senior editor Anna Gaca’s new cover story on Oklou. The event will now feature Pitchfork’s Head of Editorial Content Mano Sundaresan in conversation with the French musician. At Rough Trade Below, Mano and Oklou will discuss the zine, the making of her cover story, the upcoming deluxe edition of Oklou’s album Choke Enough, and more. Preview the zine below.

For those who can’t grab a zine at the Rough Trade Below event, the zines will be available to purchase online via the Rough Trade website starting October 17. They’ll be available for in-person purchase, too, at Rough Trade’s New York City location, beginning that same day. Zines cost $30.
