Days of Our Lives Spoilers for the Week of 9-23-24 Suggest Fiona Could Be The Next One Caught!

It’s not looking good for Fiona. Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-23-24 suggest she’s the next to go down.

It’s about time, if true.

Fiona’s been keeping this horrible secret for far too long about the night Sarah was run over — and Xander’s about to try again to make Brady pay.

In many ways, this Fiona story has been yet another rerun of tired TV tropes involving the wrong person being accused of a heinous crime.

As is par for the course on the soap, Sarah thinks Fiona is her guardian angel, but her mother-in-law is secretly the one who mowed her down in a drunk driving accident.

Serena Scott Thomas’ performance has made Fiona’s horrible behavior understandable, but the most exciting part of this story is that it’s almost over. She’s the next one who needs to get caught now that Connie’s about to go to jail or Bayview.

It can’t come soon enough, either, because Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-23-24 say that Xander’s going to try again to get revenge against Brady.

Fiona doesn’t want to lose her son when she just found him, but he’ll end up in jail if he’s not careful. Plus, she claims to care about Brady, so she’d better come clean.

People like her never confess the truth unless forced, but that could happen since Maggie is confused by one of Fiona’s comments and Sarah confronts her after starting to remember the truth.

Now That Connie’s Hostages Are Safe, Romance Is On The Horizon

Gabi And Ava Are Both Extremely Grateful To Their Saviors

Who didn’t see this one coming?

People rejecting potential lovers, only to change their minds after getting rescued from a near-death situation, are one of those things that only happens in Salem.

We’ve got two such couples this week. Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-23-24 say that Gabi and Ava will both be grateful to their rescuers.

Gabi was using EJ to get revenge, but she’ll undoubtedly fall for him for real now, while Ava will rethink her rejection of sleazy Stefan.

That’s a shame in Ava’s case. Her rejection of Stefan’s casual misogyny and desire to use her body to hurt Gabi was one of the most badass female moves Days of Our LIves has had in a while.

Don’t undo it now, Ava! Stefan happened to be in the right place at the right time and she wouldn’t be having romantic feelings if Roman had been the one to trick Connie into letting Ava go. (I hope not, anyway!)

Melinda Gets Her Job Back

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 9-23-24 Say Paulina Will Do Another DA Switcheroo

Can we please stop playing musical DAs?

I’m glad that Melinda survived Connie’s attack too, but that’s no reason to give her her old job back.

Granted, Paulina only fired Melinda the first time because EJ was blackmailing her with the threat to have her recalled.

Still, she sent EJ packing because of his part in the baby switch, so what sense does it make to rehire Melinda when she was more directly involved in the scheme?

This constant changing the DA for the sake of drama is almost as bad as the CEO wars. Someone make it stop.

Jada Realizes How Unstable Connie Is

Is The Serial Killer Headed For Bayview?

Spoilers for Days of Our Lives during the week of 9-23-24 say that Jada will realize how unstable Connie is while trying to arrest her.

The huge cardboard cutout of Li and Connie’s insistence on moving into the apartment where he was killed were huge red flags, so what else is there left for Jada to discover?

This storyline doesn’t do anything for positive representation of mental health issues, so I hope it doesn’t add insult to injury by letting Connie get off scot-free because of her instability.

Connie should be arrested and made to stand trial like anyone else, but chances are that Jada will call in Marlena or another specialist and Connie will be shipped off to Bayview before even getting charged.

That’s better than her escaping, but it’s still not a satisfying ending after being forced to sit through this tedious saga.

Alex and Chanel’s Job Leaves Johnny Jealous

No One Is Happy When Alex And Chanel Have To Perform An Intimate Scene

This spoiler is another one from the Land of Things Everyone Saw Coming A Mile Away.

The Body & Soul nonsense was an obvious set-up for this unnecessary love triangle threatening to ruin everything.

Johnny and Chanel are happily married, and Alex seems to be gravitating toward Stephanie, so there is no reason for any of this drama over Chanel and Alex playing lovers.

Johnny should have thought about whether he could handle his girlfriend having love scenes with her ex before pushing her and Alex to accept Abe’s plan for them to work together.

Instead, he thought it was a great idea, but Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-23-24 promise he’ll be green with envy when he has to direct the two in an intimate scene. Ugh.

Sophia Interferes With Holly And Tate

The Teen Love Triangle Heats Up As We Head Toward Fall

Teen stories are about the only place these twisted love triangles are acceptable.

Tate and Holly are each other’s first loves, and Sophia is heartbroken by her first rejection. So over-the-top behavior makes sense.

The only thing that doesn’t work in this story is Tate’s reaction. They did the same silly thing with JJ and Paige when they were teenagers by having JJ jump into bed with Eve because he thought Paige’s anger at him was forever.

Similarly, there’s no reason for Tate to fall for Sophia’s manipulations just because Holly is going through a rough time and is taking it out on him.

Tate gets a certain amount of leeway for being a kid, but that disloyalty seems out of character for him. Boo!

Xander Crosses A Line To Get Revenge

Is He Behind Brady Getting Drugged?

One of the strangest Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9-23-24 says that Brady will get drugged.

This didn’t make sense to me until I saw that another spoiler promises that Jada will inadvertently ruin Xander’s plan for revenge.

Brady’s drugging is likely to be part of Xander’s latest revenge scheme.

Xander is one of those characters I love even though I’d never hang out with him in real life, but this plot is ridiculous and I’m glad it’s not going to work.

Fiona sitting with a cocky look on her face on Days of Our LivesFiona sitting with a cocky look on her face on Days of Our Lives
(Peacock/Screenshot)

Fiona’s Slip-Up Could Be Her Undoing

She Says Something That Leaves Maggie Confused

What in the world will Fiona say that will clue Maggie in?

Whatever it is may not be the end of this story. This soap tends to drag things out for months.

Still, Fiona may be on her way out, and Maggie finally recovering her ability to think critically is a bonus.

Maggie purposely derailed her wedding to Konstantin, but she had fallen for his obvious lies for months, which was out of character for her.

If she’s the one to unravel Fiona’s scheme, that will help redeem her.

EJ sitting at a desk plotting to manipulate Holly on Days of Our LivesEJ sitting at a desk plotting to manipulate Holly on Days of Our Lives
(Peacock/Screenshot)

Eric And EJ Fight Over Holly

Will The Two Arch-Rivals Come To Blows?

I’m all for EJ trying to manipulate Holly. It’s a classic soap story, and he’s the kind of charming villain who would get inside his former stepdaughter’s head to get revenge on Holly’s mother for leaving him.

Of course, it would be a better story if Nicole hadn’t been forced out of Salem.

If Ari Zucker’s allegations are proven in court to be true, that will be a shame for Days of Our Lives for several reasons, but this story is one of them.

I could do without Eric and EJ facing off, at least not this early in the story.

I’d rather the story be about Holly falling for EJ’s tricks, only to realize he’s a narcissistic abuser and having to figure out how to get out of the hole she’s dug herself into.

It’s not that I want to see Holly be abused, but making this manipulation story about her would be more compelling. It would be easy to root for her to escape EJ’s trap, and it would be a cautionary tale about how abusers ingratiate themselves.

Over to you, Days of Our Lives fanatics.

Which of these spoilers are you most looking forward to?

Vote in our poll and then hit the comments with your thoughts.

Days of Our Lives streams exclusively on Peacock. New episodes drop on weekday mornings at 6/5c.
